The mysteries of blogging

I'll be honest; I'm supposed to be an IT professional but I have still very little idea of how this works. I can't even rename my blog from "Mark Findlay's test blog" so as to make it appear as the real thing! I have another blog on Wordpress which got hacked and I still don't really know how to unhack it (whenever you go there it goes off to some spam web site). But it's way overdue for me to find a way to express myself in the world, with apparently every one else doing it...
